Project Description
A Laser Surgery Department is now operating at Cito Medical Center. Using state-of-the-art equipment, we perform Endovenous Laser Coagulation (EVLC), which is an effective and safe method for treating varicose vein disease. Varicose veins do not heal on their own; moreover, if left untreated, they can lead to serious and severe complications.
Consult a vascular specialist (angiologist) if you experience the following symptoms:
- A feeling of heaviness and fatigue in the legs;
- Prominent dilation of veins;
- Spider veins (telangiectasia);
- Swelling of the legs;
- Hardening in various parts of the lower extremities; Skin discoloration;
- Skin discoloration;
- Bruising/bleeding from veins;
- Pain in the calf muscles while walking;
- Frequent headaches and dizziness without a specific known cause.

Vascular surgeries are performed without incisions, preserving the aesthetic appearance of the skin.
Using thermal energy, the vein wall is cauterized, causing the vein to close and eventually disappear.
Advantages of this method:
- High efficiency;
- Short and easy recovery period without hospitalization;
- Excellent cosmetic effect;
- Absence of post-operative scars;
- The patient returns to daily life within 3–5 days;
- The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia.
Surgeries are performed using the latest generation multifunctional Lasotronix Smart M diode laser by the Chief Angiologist of Yerevan, PhD Tigran Kamalyan.
The department also performs certain proctological laser surgeries.
